Each year NEW sponsors a national training
conference. Members from all across the United States come together
in one place to learn new skills and develop a strong network of
associates. In addition, throughout the year NEW assists local and
state chapters in planning and presenting regional seminars and
conferences designed to enhance professional and personal growth.

All NEW members receive newsletters and bulletins on proposed national
policy changes and national studies that set standards for competency.
In addition you will be able to access a wealth of information by
networking with other NEW members either in your local chapter or
on a national level. Opening the floodgates to brainstorming and
problem solving.
Life
Insurance
NEW
has a group Life Insurance Policy with Horace Mann. As a member
of our organization, each NEW member has $1,000.00 coverage, effective
with NEW's next premium payment.
Consultation
with Federal Agencies
The
Board of Directors of the Association maintain a working relationship
with Federal agencies and provides consultation on issues pertinent
to our field of practice.
A
Voice
Credibility
of the Association is contingent on the effectiveness of the leadership
and the active participation of our members. All members are encouraged
to take an active role so the decisions of the Board of Directors
will reflect their views.

that involves eligibility determination, administration or case
management.
Organization
Any
local or state chapter of Eligibility Practitioners.
Agency
Any
organization or agency in the field of social welfare that supports
the purpose of the Association.

person who is interested in and supports the purpose of the Association.
