2008 Membership DriveEffective Date: January 1, 2008 through October 31, 2008
The 2008 Membership Drive is designed by NEW PATHS’ National Membership Committee to boost our membership during 2007. It will benefit individual members or chapters, depending on how it is carried out. The premise is simple. Individuals are paid by the National Membership Committee to recruit members. For every 5 new members recruited, an individual will be paid $20.00. New members include “brand new” members or those who have allowed their memberships to lapse more than a month.
Those who choose to participate in the Membership Drive can request a packet of information to assist them in their efforts. The packet will contain a speech or presentation about NEW Paths, Fact Sheets, Membership Applications, 5 Ways To Talk About NEW Paths Membership information sheet, and motto certificates.
The Membership Drive may be undertaken by an individual or by a group of individuals who will share the $20.00 earned for each 5 members recruited. Chapters will benefit from the increased membership. Of course, if you want your chapter to benefit financially, members may recruit, earn the money, and donate it to the chapter treasury. This way, the membership drive serves as a chapter fund-raiser. Remember, the more members recruited, the more money earned.
All you have to do is print your name across the top of any application that you, or the people you have recruited, send in to our main address with payment. If you want your chapter (instead of you) to get the credit, print your name and the name of the chapter on top of application. Write across the top of the application: "Recruited by Jane Doe" or “Recruited for Alaska State Chapter".
