QUALIFYING FOR the
MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT INCENTIVE PLAN
January 1 - December 31, 2008
Continuation of the Membership Recruitment Incentive was approved by the board for the 2008 calendar year. The Membership Committee believes this plan will better address chapters’ financial needs and the need to retain members, not just recruit new ones.
Your chapter is encouraged to take advantage of this incentive plan by following the rules outlined below.

The incentive policy applies to persons who join, rejoin and renew when they attend a local or state chapter sponsored training event. The incentive is applicable to members recruited from the date of the written announcement of the training event until the last day of the event.

For a renewal to qualify, it must be due and paid in the month before, month of, or month following the chapter training event.

Proof (e.g., flyer, brochure, program) of your chapter’s training event must be provided with the claim form as well as attendance record for training event.

Membership applications and/or renewal cards must be submitted through your state or local chapter and attached to the claim form provided.

A check from the state or local chapter for the total amount of new and renewed memberships must be submitted with the complete incentive claim form.

The chapter submits the completed claim form, applications, payment, proof of the training event and attendance record for training event to:

After all the required information is received at the national office and verified, payment will be issued to your chapter as follows:
1 - 50 members $ 4.00 each
51 + members $ 5.00 each
The NEW Paths Board of Directors encourages all chapters to sponsor a training event, such as a conference or seminar, and increase as well as retain your membership.
