Do you work with people who receive TANF?

NEW:PATHS received a grant from the Office of Family Assistance (OFA) to develop a handbook of best practices for the TANF program. The Best Practice Guide focuses on 5 major components of TANF; Family Relationships and Stability, Employment Services, Child Support Enforcement Program, Child Care Assistance Program and Children's Education.  When you are sitting with a customer and she doesn't want to say who the father is, what techniques and/or questions do you ask to get her to identify him? How do you maintain a customer's motivation throughout the work search process?  What successful techniques do you employ when working with clients in regards to supporting healthy marriages?  What do you do when a family discusses child care issues with you?

NEW:PATHS  wants to hear from you! Please go to www.tanfbestpractices.org to find out more and  submit your best practices.
